(AP) — West Palm Beach officials chose a local-based operator for the Sunset Lounge on Monday night, capping a protracted process that pitted a non-Black Miami-based group against one led by Black residents eager to oversee the return of a venue that was once the cultural hub of the city’s largely Black Northwest neighborhood.
