Slums are common to many OECD and third world countries including India, Mexico, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa and Chile just to name a few. These settlements tend to host the lower income class if they are not provided with affordable housing. The cost within these zones is typically cheaper compared to other parts of a city. Slums offer amazing experiences for both residents and nonresidents.
