Binghamton forward and captain Tyson Kirkby is the first signing announced by the team in the offseason after winning their second straight FPHL Commissioner's Cup.

Kirkby coming off his fourth season in the organization has been a cornerstone in the record books for the Black Bears, the Prescott, Ontario native leads the franchise in games played (164), goals (115), assists (154). and points (269).
