It's playoff season for most spring sports, and it was a short one for area baseball teams, as all that made the playoffs have been knocked out.
Southside lost two games to Flomaton in the opening round of the 3A playoffs, 13-0 and 2-0, while Hale County was swept out by Glenwood 16-0 and 25-0.
In 5A, Demopolis lost 8-2 and 3-1 to Elberta to wrap up its season.
