Body of Bwire Ndubi Airlifted to Kakamega for Burial Tomorrow

The body of Bwire Ndubi was airlifted to Kisumu International Airport and then transported by road to Kakamega County in preparation for her burial on Saturday, September 21st.
Ndubi passed away on September 5th while receiving cancer treatment in Turkey.
Her body was flown back to Kenya, and a memorial service was held in Mombasa a few days ago. A candlelight vigil, titled ‘The Last Dance,’ took place on September 14th at the Little Theatre Club in Mombasa, attended by film industry figures, family, friends, and fans.
Following her passing, her family shared the heartbreaking news, expressing their gratitude for the support during her treatment.
“It is with heavy hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce Winfred Bwire Ndubi lost her battle with cancer on 5th September 2024, while undergoing treatment in Turkey,” the family statement read.
“Thank you all for your overwhelming support, prayers, and generosity throughout her treatment. More details will be shared in due course.”
