CAF Confirms Tanzania as 2027 AFCON Host

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) Executive Committee (EXCO) is meeting in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on Friday. CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe will chair the session.

A press conference will follow the meeting at the Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam, with live streaming available on CAF Television. Media invitations and additional information will be released prior to the event.

Agenda and Preparations for AFCON 2027

The EXCO meeting will address various topics related to the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2027. Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda are jointly hosting the tournament.

The meeting aims to establish a framework for preparations and coordination among the three host nations as they prepare for the continental competition. It represents a significant step in the lead-up to the event.
