STARKVILLE, Miss.—History lessons will come to life when Jacqueline Hamer Flakes, the youngest daughter of civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer, kicks off Black History Month at Mississippi State University during a Wednesday [Feb. 1] presentation and book signing.
