Dilla World Weekend Honors Late Hip-Hop Producer

Detroit is preparing to commemorate the life and legacy of renowned hip-hop producer J Dilla with a weekend of events throughout Metro Detroit. The celebration, marking the 20th anniversary of his album “Donuts,” is being organized by Ma Dukes Official, Dilla World 313, Raise the Flag Detroit, and several local Detroit venues and organizations.

The events will take place at various locations including the Woodbridge Pub, Marble Bar, Lincoln Factory, Detroit’s People’s Food Co-Op, and McShane’s.
