The Norfolk State University (NSU) Board of Visitors named Dr. Javaune Adams-Gaston as the 7th President of Norfolk State University during Black History Month. The new president is expected to begin her tenure in June.
Currently, Adams-Gaston serves as senior vice president at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She has been at the state’s largest university since 2009.
