Immigrants become naturalized U.S. citizens over 4th of July weekend

DYERSVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) - Over the 4th of July weekend, 35 people from 20 different countries took the last step to becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen.
They took their oaths at a special place for Iowans, the Field of Dreams movie site.
“It’s amazing that it’s happening July 5th, I will never forget it. We just celebrated the birthday of our country and now I get to become a citizen. How cool is that?” Val Trussov, from Kazakhstan, said.
