Morara Kebaso Suggests Name for Political Party He Plans to Register

Lawyer and businessman Morara Kebaso has hinted at plans to register a political party using leftover funds after purchasing a set of chairs.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Kebaso revealed that he would spend KSh 100,000 to officially register the party. The lawyer is expected to submit necessary documents, including two copies of the party’s constitution, to the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties.
A vocal critic of President William Ruto’s administration, Kebaso has called on Generation Z to unite and form a coalition with their own leaders. This follows the admission by Gen Z protestors during the 2024/25 Finance Bill demonstrations that they lacked a central leader, with the protests being organized through social media.
Kebaso’s announcement came a day after a heated online exchange with activist Mercy Tarus over the “Kenya Ni Home” slogan, an issue he later confirmed had been resolved.
Previously, he had asked Kenyans to contribute towards purchasing sound equipment for his political campaigns.
Kebaso also revealed that the party he plans to register will be named the Injection of National Justice, Economic, and Civic Transformation (INJECT), with the party’s colors being green, symbolizing new beginnings, and gold, representing a prosperous future.
