Palm Springs Unified students reflect on meaningful trip touring HBCUs

"Sometimes you have to stop and embrace the wisdom of those who blazed the trail before you, and pray that your steps are just as rewarding for those coming behind you."

That's how Rancho Mirage High School junior Ziere Revis reflected on his place in the world after his recent trip to tour historically Black colleges and universities in the Washington, D.C. area.

Revis was one of 24 Palm Springs Unified high school students selected out of 40 applicants to participate in the district's inaugural HBCUs . . .
