South Africa, African Export-Import Bank Announce USD8 Billion Program

South Africa has formally joined the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), marking a significant milestone for both institutions. This accession makes South Africa the 54th state to join the Bank’s Establishment Agreement.

Afreximbank has declared a USD8 billion Country Programme for South Africa. This program is intended to unlock trade opportunities and operate within the broader global financial architecture. The South African Department of Trade is involved in this partnership.
