The 58th Carnegie International explodes and expands the global contemporary art exhibition format

In an opening passage of the catalogue for the 58th Carnegie International, which opened last month at Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Museum of Art, curator Sohrab Mohebbi remarks, “to be contemporary means to stand in solidarity, in art and life”.
