The Univ. at Buffalo athletics ends 2023-24 FY in the black

The Univ. at Buffalo athletic department “finished in the black” for FY2023-24 despite a “drop in ticket-sale revenue from the 2022-23 fiscal year, coaching turnover in the football program that required severance payments and no bowl game revenue from the 2023 season,” according to Rachel Lenzi of the BUFFALO NEWS. According to the annual standardized financial statement the school must file with the NCAA, UB had athletic revenues of $42,261,274 and expenses of $42,103,311 for FY2023-24.This is the eighth time since the end of FY2015 . . .
