Travellers heading to Vancouver International Airport are reminded to expect delays around the airport due to Black Friday sales at nearby outlet mall McArthurGlen — not just on Friday, but for the entire weekend.

The airport authority said it is working closely with RCMP and traffic management personnel in preparation for the rush of shoppers clogging up the roads. “However, we anticipate heavy congestion on the day and those travelling to and from the airport by road should expect delays . . .
