Zelina Vega Aligns With Aleister Black On WWE SmackDown

It appears Zelina Vega has formed a new alliance on WWE SmackDown.

After an underwhelming run with the WWE Women’s United States Championship, Zelina Vega seems to have shifted her allegiances on the blue brand — one that holds a deeply personal connection to her.

The October 10 episode of SmackDown saw Aleister Black and Damian Priest headline the show in a Last Man Standing Match. Priest had the upper hand during the closing moments and appeared ready to send Black crashing through a table with a Razor’s Edge.

However, the Archer of Infamy was stopped in his tracks by none other than Zelina Vega, who pleaded with Priest not to hurt Black. After hesitating for a moment, Priest told Vega to move aside — only to get hit with a fireball to the eye from Black, who then finished the match with a Black Mass, sending Priest crashing through the table.

Zelina Vega appeared shocked by Black’s actions. Nonetheless, her brief distraction allowed him to emerge as the Last Man Standing. For those wondering, Black and Vega were romantically involved before tying the knot in 2018. It remains to be seen whether this marks the start of a new alliance or simply WWE blurring the lines between kayfabe and reality.
