African heads of state converge in Beijing, begging bowls in hand.

50 heads of state flew from Africa to China, the forum is called , without any sense of irony, the China-Africa summit and apparently its held every year. African leaders fly off to Beijing to negotiate what ‘help’ they will get from Beijing.
A brief context; Africa’s landmass is bigger than China, India , the US and most of Europe combined! But we are more than just a vast land mass, even though the myth of Africa as open savannah land has been seared in the Europe a imagination of Africa. We are blest with mighty rivers that power dams and feed us all year round and forest-lands that allow the continent’s lungs to breath.

In the bowels of earth, precious stones, from the hardest diamonds to coltan, which is used to make computer and phone chips, are to be found within the borders of our continent. Put simply, we are the wealthiest continent on earth.
The so-called super powers of the world made their economic strides by stealing from us; The Americans and Europeans built their empires through African slaves. And when it became unfashionable to enslave others, they settled on our shores and declared us backward and uncivilized. We needed to master their ways to be accepted to the table of men. Colonization was anything but gentle, it was a brutalization of our souls.
So effective was this brainwashing, a top politician in Kenya, now dead had his laundry done in London and how did he manage to finance such an expense? By stealing from our taxes and the public coffers. Theft by public officers in China is punishable by death. The latter assertion, somehow answers the next question; How did China limp from its implied backwardness to a global power? Simply by making corruption very unattractive.
Many of those African heads of state lining up with begging bowls in Beijing are certified thieves. Their manifestos are about primitive accumulation of capital. That’s why they are unable to recognize a simple truth; China is not coming to help Africa and Africans but to secure its own future using the continents natural resources and the good thing is that they are doing it at our own invitation.
