Ayora and Jarvis Lead Magical Kenya Open

The Magical Kenya Open continued Saturday at Karen Golf Club, with a shakeup at the top of the leaderboard. Angel Ayora of Spain and Casey Jarvis of South Africa are now tied for the lead heading into the final round.
Both Ayora and Jarvis are at 17 under par, one stroke ahead of Davis Bryant of the United States and Hennie Du Plessis of South Africa.
Third Round Performances
Angel Ayora carded a six-under-par 64, highlighted by six birdies, to match his opening round score. His round was bogey-free. Casey Jarvis, meanwhile, shot a 66 and experienced bogeys at the 10th and 17th holes.
Previous Rounds
In the first round, Jarvis shared the lead with Niklas Lemke after both carded an eight-under-par 62. Frederic Lacroix then shot a second-round 62, moving into a share of the halfway lead with Jarvis on 135.
Kenyan Player Performance
Kenya’s Njoroge Kibugu returned a third-round four-over-par 74, resulting in a drop down the leaderboard. He recorded bogeys at the first, third, fourth, ninth and 15th holes, with his only birdie coming at the par-five 18th.
Contenders and Prize Money
Five former champions remain in contention: Jacques Kruyswijk (2025), Darius Van Driel (2024), Jorge Campillo (2023), Justin Harding (2021), and Guido Migliozzi (2019). The winner of this year’s event will earn sh1.7 billion, with the last-placed finisher guaranteed at least sh18 million.
