CAF Cup Day 5 Results Complete

USM Alger secured a 2-3 victory over FC San Pedro in Côte d’Ivoire, confirming their status as favorites in Group A of the 2026 CAF Cup and advancing to the quarter-finals. Olympique Club de Safi also qualified from the group, defeating Djoliba AC 2-1 at home.

Group A Results

USM Algiers defeated FC San Pedro 3-2.
OC Safi defeated Djoliba 2-1.

Group B Developments

Wissam Ben Yedder scored the decisive goal in Wydad Casablanca’s 0-1 victory over Nairobi United. This result positions Wydad on a favorable path toward qualification.
AS Maniema Union suffered a 1-0 loss to Azam FC in Tanzania. This setback restarts the competition for second place in the group, with Maniema Union needing a win against Nairobi United on the final day to secure qualification.

Group C Qualification

AS Otôho achieved a 3-0 victory over Stellenbosch.
CR Belouizdad won 0-1 against Singida Black Stars.
These results officially qualify AS Otôho and CR Belouizdad for the direct elimination phase.

Group D Uncertainty

Kaizer Chiefs secured a 2-1 win over Al Masry at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, taking the lead in the group standings and nearing qualification.
Zesco United defeated Zamalek 1-0 in Zambia. This loss puts Zamalek’s qualification hopes in jeopardy and creates a tense situation in the group.
