FBI investigation of Renee Good’s death expands to associates

The family attorney for Renee Good is calling for an investigation into her fatal shooting. Attorney Antonio Romanucci stated that the lack of an investigation raises concerns about potential undisclosed information from the government.

Romanucci, representing the Good family, emphasized the standard practice of investigating uses of deadly force to determine if civil rights were violated. He noted his firm has not been contacted by federal investigators.

Federal Investigation

Sources familiar with the matter have confirmed that federal investigators are examining the conduct of Renee Good and those around her. When questioned about potential activist ties of Becca Good, Renee Good’s wife, Romanucci cited her participation in a chat group, which he described as insignificant.

First Amendment Rights

Romanucci stated that participation in a chat group is a form of peaceful assembly and a lawful exercise of First Amendment rights. He characterized any suggestion of unlawful activity related to the chat group as “preposterous.”

Becca Good’s Well-being

Romanucci reported that Becca Good is experiencing significant grief. He encouraged individuals to honor Renee Good’s memory through peaceful protests.
