Fetty Wap and G Herbo Reunite for “I Remember” Music Video

Fetty Wap and G Herbo Reflect on the Past in New “I Remember” Music Video

Paterson, NJ – RIAA Diamond-certified artist Fetty Wap has joined forces with Chicago rap sensation G Herbo for the official music video of their collaborative track, “I Remember.” The visual, directed by Decat, premiered on April 29, 2024, and offers a poignant and introspective journey through the Paterson, New Jersey landmarks that significantly influenced Fetty Wap’s life and career.

“I Remember” is a highlight from Fetty Wap’s recently released 17-track studio album, Zavier. This album marks his first full-length release since returning home earlier this year and represents a significant chapter in his artistic evolution.

The creation of Zavier is deeply rooted in a period of intense reflection for Fetty Wap. The artist, known for his hit “Trap Queen,” revealed that a substantial portion of the album’s material was written during his time in solitary confinement. He describes the project as a more authentic and insightful exploration of his experiences and perspectives.

“I found myself crafting many songs while incarcerated, particularly during those six months in solitary confinement,” Fetty Wap explained. “Even within challenging circumstances, creativity persists. Music remained a vital outlet for self-expression. I’ve used this time to reflect, evolve, and solidify my vision for the kind of artist and person I aspire to be. The album retains the signature energy my fans know and love, but it’s also infused with a newfound honesty and perspective.”

The “I Remember” music video and the Zavier album showcase Fetty Wap’s continued growth and artistic maturity, offering fans a deeper look into his journey and the experiences that have shaped him.
