Gabrielle Union-Wade is obsessed with South Africa

Gabrielle Union-Wade, has been living her best life in South Africa and honestly, we love to see it. The star recently shared glimpses of her Cape Town getaway, making sure she experienced the city properly while taking her followers along for the ride. From scenic views to local fashion and iconic wine farms, Gabrielle gave us a carousel packed with unforgettable moments.

Gabrielle kicked off her post with snaps from her visit to Klein Goederust, a winery in Cape Town known for being the city’s only Black-owned wine farms. The actress took time out of her busy schedule to support such a meaningful and historic space, and South Africans immediately noticed the love. Of course, because no Cape Town trip is complete without it, she also dedicated a few slides to the city’s dreamy beaches and unreal sunsets because honestly, nobody does golden hour like the Mother City.

The actress also made sure to spotlight Cape Town’s local creatives and designers throughout her post. Gabrielle has always had an appreciation for African fashion and artistry, and this trip proved it yet again. She was at the AJKP studio where she laughed about how she planned on only buying one item but ended up buying racks on racks on racks of pieces. and she also popped by at the Nkula cocktail and wine boutique, she clearly had a ball and made sure we knew about it. The boutique then posted on their Instagram page to show off the star that visited. They also catered to her every need from the music, food, scenery and community, everything was outstanding.

She also shared a fun selfie with her co-star Michael Ealy alongside members of the production team they’re currently working with. She teases us with a glimpse of a future project being filmed in South Africa. We’re definitely getting breathtaking local scenery on our screens soon.

Gabrielle gave South African designer Thebe Magugu and his collaboration with Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel their own special moment. The final slides showcased stunning interiors, artistic details and proudly African-inspired pieces that perfectly captured the beauty and elegance of local talent.
