The New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, a World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold meeting, will take place in Boston on January 24. Several world-class athletes have been confirmed to compete in the event.

Men’s 60m Hurdles

Cordell Tinch, the 2025 World Athletics Champion in the 110m hurdles, is set to headline the men’s 60m hurdles event. Tinch achieved victories at Wanda Diamond League meetings in Silesia, Lausanne, and Zurich during the previous year. He concluded 2025 as the world’s top-ranked hurdler, having recorded three of the five sub-13.00 performances, including a personal best of 12.87, which places him among the fastest men in history.

Long Jump and 400m

World heptathlon champion Anna Hall will make her New Balance Indoor Grand Prix debut, participating in both the long jump and 400m. Hall has consistently ranked among the world’s leading combined events athletes, earning bronze and silver medals at the 2022 and 2023 World Athletics Championships. Her personal best in the heptathlon places her second on the all-time list. In the long jump, she will face competition from Jasmine Moore, the Olympic bronze medallist, and Claire Bryant, the world indoor champion.

Men’s 600m

A competitive middle-distance race is anticipated in the men’s 600m, featuring 2019 world 800m champion Donavan Brazier and 2024 world indoor 800m champion Bryce Hoppel. Cian McPhillips, the Irish record-holder, and Mohamed Attaoui of Spain, who finished fifth in the 800m at both the Olympic Games and World Championships, will also compete.

Men’s 800m

Josh Hoey is returning to Boston to contend for a victory in the men’s 800m. Last year, Hoey established himself as the second-fastest man ever indoors at both the 800m and 1000m distances, subsequently winning 800m gold at the World Indoor Championships. He recently recorded a time of 1:12.84 for 600m at Boston University, improving the previous world best by nearly a second.

Women’s and Men’s 3000m

Jessica Hull of Australia, the Olympic silver medallist and world bronze medallist at 1500m, will join Elle St. Pierre in the women’s 3000m. Graham Blanks will compete against Andrew Coscoran in the men’s 3000m.
