Group ILLIT successfully captured global fans’ hearts with a striking performance on music television.

ILLIT performed their title track ‘Arrest Me’ from their 5th mini album ‘BREAK EVEN’ on KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’ on the 30th.

ILLIT appeared wearing ‘black agent’ outfits straight out of a music video. Starting with Wonhee’s frowning expression creating a tense atmosphere, the performance flowed into sharp choreography timed to a heavy beat. In particular, the detailed choreography that meticulously matched arm angles and jumping timing to enhance the stage’s perfection shone brightly.

The fans’ witty cheers also drew attention. GLLIT (the fandom name) added vitality to the stage by blowing whistles together to the chorus’s whistle sound and chanting “ILLIT” to the beat. The stage created by ILLIT and their fans as one provided a fresh spectacle for viewers.

“Arrest Me” has been showing a clear presence on domestic and international charts upon release. This song settled high on the daily charts of major domestic music platforms like Bugs (6th) and Melon (9th) as of October 29. On Apple Music’s ‘Today’s Top 100: Global’, it entered at 67th (as of October 27) and rapidly climbed to 49th (as of October 28) and 17th (as of October 29).

The song is also a hot topic on short-form platforms. Leaving a strong impression with its addictive whistle sound, it ranked 1st on YouTube’s ‘Daily Shorts Popular Songs’ in South Korea (as of October 27) and 3rd on Instagram’s ‘Reels Trending Audio’ (as of October 30). Celebrities like IU, Crush, and ENHYPEN’s Jungwon and Sunoo participated in the cute point choreography challenge where they make finger guns. Challenges remixing the lyrics of “Arrest Me” into lucky messages like “I’ll get a promotion,” “I’ll get a perfect score on the CSAT,” and “I’ll become rich” are also spreading by word of mouth like a trend.

Having succeeded in capturing global fans’ hearts, ILLIT will continue their active promotions across music broadcasts and various variety shows.
