The Ph.D Programme in Human Rights, Society and Multi-level Governance is a three-year, interdisciplinary academic programme jointly offered by the University of Padova (Italy) with Tangaza University (Kenya) and run by an international board. The administrative structure is the Human Rights Centre “Antonio Papisca” of the University of Padova.
The doctoral degree programme is an interdisciplinary and cross-cutting course of research and study on the topic of human rights and sustainable development.
We offer a full-time, 3-year advanced doctoral programme for outstanding students who want to achieve an inspiring training in one of our two curricula: Human Rights Protection and Social Justice or Inclusion and Psychological growth
The programme includes learning, training, research, and public engagement activities, is open to different approaches and methodologies, and has global geographical scope. The PhD programme has the support of the UNESCO Chair “Human Rights, Peace and Democracy”. The language of the programme is English.
