The annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood luncheon took place, honoring notable figures in the entertainment industry. This year’s event recognized Chase Infiniti, Kerry Washington, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, and Zinzi Coogler for their contributions.
The invite-only event, themed “Off Script,” was held on Thursday, March 12, at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel. A red carpet pre-show was streamed on Essence’s YouTube page.
Chase Infiniti, Kerry Washington, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, and Zinzi Coogler were recognized at the luncheon. Marsai Martin served as host, and Mya performed during the ceremony. Delroy Lindo, Jurnee Smollett, Teyana Taylor, Michael B. Jordan, and Ryan Coogler were among the presenters.
The Luminary Spotlight was dedicated to the women of ‘Sinners,’ including Autumn Durald Arkapaw, Hannah Beachler, Jayme Lawson, Ruth E. Carter, Shunika Terry-Jennings, and Wunmi Mosaku, alongside Ryan Coogler.
