News 12 | Brooklyn | Hip Hop Lovers Celebrate Pioneers And The Genres Legacy At Williamsbridge Event

Hip-hop pioneers and fans gathered at Gun Hill Playground in Williamsbridge on Saturday for the 8th Annual MC Sha-Rock Cultural Day.

MC Sha Rock and former New York City Council Member Andy King hosted the event that honored some of hip-hop’s trailblazers, including the Bronx’s own Cold Crush Brothers.

The celebration also featured live performances, dancing, food vendors and community activities to bring together generations of hip-hop enthusiasts to recognize the culture’s lasting impact.
