Hip-hop pioneers and fans gathered at Gun Hill Playground in Williamsbridge on Saturday for the 8th Annual MC Sha-Rock Cultural Day.
MC Sha Rock and former New York City Council Member Andy King hosted the event that honored some of hip-hop’s trailblazers, including the Bronx’s own Cold Crush Brothers.
The celebration also featured live performances, dancing, food vendors and community activities to bring together generations of hip-hop enthusiasts to recognize the culture’s lasting impact.
