The 2026 Magical Kenya Open will combine professional golf with entertainment, featuring performances by Nyashinski and Njerae at the Johnnie Walker Entertainment Village at the Karen Country Club. Johnnie Walker, the Official Alcohol Beverage and Entertainment Partner, has expanded its program to enhance the fan experience with music, lifestyle activations, and social spaces alongside the golf tournament.
The Tournament Village will open on Friday, February 20, following the second round and cut of the golf tournament. The opening day’s entertainment will include sets by DJs Nijo, Redbone, Vera, and Festa, with DJ Trixy as the resident DJ and Kibunja as the emcee.
Saturday’s entertainment will build throughout the day, culminating in a headline performance by Nyashinski. Nyashinski, a Johnnie Walker brand ambassador, is known for his lyrical depth, genre-blending music, and live performances. He is scheduled to release a new album, The Showman Residency, in April and was previously a member of the Kleptomanix group. The Saturday lineup also includes DJ Mista C, DJ E, DJ Lisney, and Daq Child, alongside resident DJ Benitez and emcee Gogo.
The tournament will conclude on Sunday, February 22, with the final round followed by a headline performance by Njerae. Njerae, a rising contemporary artist, is recognized for her soulful voice and distinctive sound. The Sunday performances will also feature DJs MGM, Ivy, Grauchi, and Pierra, with DJ Payne as the resident DJ and Kwambox as the emcee.
Maureen Osoro, Marketing Manager for Spirits at East African Breweries Limited, stated that the sponsorship aims to create meaningful fan experiences. Johnnie Walker has invested KES 65 million in the tournament, supporting logistics and enhancements to the overall fan experience.
The 57th edition of the Magical Kenya Open is a DP World Tour event featuring 144 players from over 25 countries. The tournament will be broadcast to millions of homes worldwide.
