The Delegation of the European Union to Kenya, along with the High Commission of Canada, the Embassies of France and Ukraine, will host a screening of the documentary Porcelain War. The film focuses on art, resilience, and humanity amidst conflict.
The event commemorates the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine.
The documentary Porcelain War follows Ukrainian artists Slava, Anya, and Andrey as they create porcelain figurines while facing the realities of the frontlines. The film examines the role of art during wartime, national perseverance, and the strength of the human spirit.
Following the film screening, a panel discussion will explore the relationship between art, war, and diplomacy.
