President William Ruto has joined fellow African leaders at a gala reception hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow.
The reception was held on the sidelines of the Third Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum, which brings together leaders and representatives from Africa and Russia to discuss cooperation in economic development, trade and humanitarian affairs.
Ruto’s participation comes as Kenya and other African countries continue to engage Russia on areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, agriculture, education and technology.
The Russia-Africa forum provides a platform for leaders to explore partnerships and strengthen diplomatic ties between the two sides.
The gala reception also offered an opportunity for African leaders to interact with Putin and other Russian officials as discussions on cooperation between Russia and African countries continue.
