Xonar Technology Inc., a developer of contactless security screening systems, announced the addition of Ayman Hindy and Albert (Bert) T. Centofante to its board of directors on January 22, 2026. The appointments are intended to provide valuable perspectives as the company expands its technology and business operations.
Ayman Hindy brings extensive experience in investment management and portfolio infrastructure. He recently retired as a managing director at PIMCO’s Newport Beach office, where he oversaw portfolio management reengineering and infrastructure. Prior to PIMCO, he held positions at Safar Partners, Advanced Liquidity Concepts, Capula Investment Management, and Platinum Grove Asset Management. Hindy has also served as a professor of finance at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and has published research in academic journals. He holds a master’s degree in engineering and a Ph.D. in financial economics from MIT and currently serves on the board of advisors for Safar Partners and Governr.ai.
Albert (Bert) T. Centofante is a finance and business executive with decades of experience in accounting, corporate finance, auditing, publishing, and nonprofit management. He is currently a managing director for Thornecrest LLC, directing long-term investment and asset management activities. His previous roles include president of the Guy Buffett Collection, president of Diversified Publishing, and finance manager for Astrophysics Research Corporation. He is also a director of the Centofante Foundation and began his career as an auditor with Main Hurdman, now part of KPMG. Centofante received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Southern California.

The National Center for Spectator Sports and Security (NCS4) evaluated Xonar TruePort, resulting in a composite score of 2.93 out of a possible 3.00, demonstrating successful performance across all evaluated capabilities.
