The Zambia Futsal National Team has been drawn in Group A alongside three-time champions and hosts Morocco for next Month’s 2026 AFCON.

During the draws conducted in Morocco, Zambia will be in the same pool with Libya and Algeria alongside the host nation.

The TotalEnergies CAF Futsal AFCON Morocco 2026 will be played from 12-21 October 2026, bringing together the continent’s leading Futsal nations for a competition that continues to grow in stature.

Group B has Egypt, Angola, Mozambique and Tanzania. Zambia was also part of the 2024 futsal Afcon where they were grouped with Morocco once again.

Zambia has participated in three futsal AFCONs and will be looking to make their fourth appearance count. Andrea Cristoforetti’s side hosted Tanzania last month in back-to-back friendly matches that Zambia won 6-0 and 5-0 respectively.
