Carmona to Head Business Banking Team for Airport West Market

U.S. Century Bank has launched Team Four, a new business-lending group, to expand its Small Business Administration (SBA) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending capabilities. The group will focus on supporting small businesses in the Airport West market, including Doral, Medley, East Hialeah, and the Milan Dairy corridor.

Benito “Benny” Carmona, Senior Vice President and Team Leader, will lead Team Four. He brings over 30 years of experience in C&I, SBA 7(a) and 504 lending, and commercial real estate financing. Carmona has been with U.S. Century Bank for a decade.

Team Four’s Focus

The new team will operate from U.S. Century Bank’s Doral headquarters and concentrate on the Airport West market. This area is considered one of South Florida’s densest small-business high-growth regions.

Leadership and Experience

Benito Carmona previously held the position of Senior Vice President/Business Banking Lender at U.S. Century Bank. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University and a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University. Carmona is also involved in community organizations, serving as a director and loan committee member of the Miami Bayside Foundation for 15 years and as an active member of the Belen Jesuit Alumni Association.
