Medeama SC has announced that its home venue, the TnA Stadium, has received Category 2 approval from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) following a comprehensive inspection by CAF experts.

The approval represents a significant milestone for the Tarkwa-based club, confirming that the stadium meets the required standards to host CAF Category 2 matches and competitions.

According to Medeama SC, the certification follows a detailed assessment conducted by CAF inspectors, who evaluated the facility against the governing body’s infrastructure and safety requirements.

The development is a major boost for the current Ghana Premier League champions, who can now look forward to hosting their CAF Champions League fixtures at the TnA Stadium, subject to CAF competition regulations.

The approval also reflects the club’s continued commitment to improving its infrastructure and providing a venue that meets international standards for African football.
