Leyanis Pérez Hernández of Cuba achieved a world-leading jump of 14.95 meters to win the triple jump at the World Athletics Indoor Championships Kujawy Pomorze 26 on Saturday. This performance equaled the best mark recorded globally this year.

Pérez Hernández secured the gold medal with her jump in the second round. Yulimar Rojas of Venezuela, the world record holder, took silver with a best jump of 14.86 meters, marking a continued return to competition for the Venezuelan athlete. Saly Sarr of Senegal earned bronze with a personal best jump of 14.70 meters, securing her first global medal.
