A rapper who appeared on the television program Show Me the Money 12 is facing legal action. The Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office has indicted the rapper, identified only as A, on charges related to military service avoidance.

The Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office indicted rapper A on charges of avoiding military service under the guise of a mental illness, according to a report by MBN. In 2016, A initially received a physical grade 2 classification during a military service examination. Subsequently, from January to June 2022, A sought medical treatment at a mental health clinic, allegedly to avoid active military service.
Following this, A was diagnosed as eligible for social service work with a physical grade of 4, based on a diagnosis of depressive disorder. However, the Military Manpower Administration’s special police reportedly detected circumstances suggesting an attempt to avoid military service.
