Rolling Loud Australia events in Sydney and Melbourne cancelled

Written by on February 27, 2026

Rolling Loud Australia, an international hip-hop festival, has been cancelled. The Sydney and Melbourne shows, initially planned for March 2026, will no longer take place. Organizers announced the decision via an Instagram post.

Cancellation Details

Rolling Loud Australia organizers cited the failure of local promoters, Primuse Entertainment, to meet critical payment deadlines and related obligations as the reason for the cancellation. The statement indicated that ongoing delays prevented the organizers from securing necessary guarantees for the event. They emphasized a commitment to fan, artist, and vendor safety and experience, stating that these could not be ensured under the current circumstances.

Ticket Refunds

All individuals who purchased tickets for the two-day event will receive a refund. Further details regarding the refund process will be provided by the event organizer and official ticketing partners.

Festival History

Rolling Loud made its Australian debut in 2019, featuring artists such as Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Tyga, Smokepurpp, and Manu Crook$. The festival was initially slated to return in 2024 but was postponed indefinitely. In October 2025, a 2026 return was announced with a new two-day format.

Planned 2026 Lineup

The planned 2026 lineup included Gunna, Ken Carson, Sexyy Red, Tya, Swae Lee, Lil Tjay, Quavo, Hooligan Hefs, YNG Martyr, and others. The festival was also scheduled to feature a dedicated stage showcasing Australian and New Zealand hip-hop artists.
