New Leaders to Guide Africa Mission in 2026

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced the calling of 188 new mission leaders worldwide. This includes 55 mission leaders for missions recently announced earlier this year. The dedicated couples will begin their three-year service in July 2026.

Mission Leader Appointments in Africa

A total of 36 new mission presidents and their companions have been called to serve in Africa. Brief biographies and photos for these couples will be published in Church News in the coming months.

Africa Central Area

The following couples have been assigned to missions in the Africa Central Area:
