Eleven athletes have earned wild card invitations to the World Athletics Indoor Championships Kujawy Pomorze 26. These invitations were awarded to winners of the 2026 World Athletics Indoor Tour.

The final Gold level meeting of the series, the Orlen Copernicus Cup, took place Sunday in Toruń, Poland. This event was held at the Kujawsko-Pomorska Arena Toruń, which will also host the World Indoor Championships from March 20-22.

Wild Card Implications

The wild card placements will allow some national teams to field a third athlete in specific disciplines at the World Indoor Championships. Typically, nations are limited to two athletes per discipline, but the wild cards provide an exception. The ultimate decision regarding athlete participation rests with each athlete’s national federation.

Financial Bonuses

Winners of the 2026 World Athletics Indoor Tour series also receive a US$10,000 bonus.
