African American Dance Company to hold annual Spring Concert Saturday

The African American Dance Company will be holding its annual Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. April 15 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.Â
Founded in 1974, the company has performed not only throughout Indiana, but in New York City, China, Jamaica and Cuba, according to the African American Arts Institute website. The company is offered as a course at IU through the Department of African American and African Diaspora Studies, and it is also one of three performing ensembles managed by African American Arts Institute at IU — alongside the African American Choral Ensemble and IU Soul . . .
