Average price of gas in the US rises for first time in months

(GasBuddy) – For the first time since mid-September, the nation’s average price of gasoline has increased, rising 2.9 cents from a week ago to $3.07 per gallon yesterday, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 12 million individual price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country. The national average is down 13.8 cents from a month ago but 1.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 0.6 cents . . .
