Black Hawks’ season ends in loss to Lincoln | Sports

WATERLOO (KWWL) — The offense went away at the wrong time for the Black Hawks. Waterloo fell to Lincoln 6-1 on Tuesday night as their season came to an end in a 2-0 series loss in the opening round of the USHL playoffs.

Waterloo’s lone goal came off the stick of Myles Hillman late in the third period with the game already in hand. In ended a scoreless drought of more than 140 minutes of game time going back to the regular season finale against Des Moines.

Lincoln’s Yan Shostak faced 40 Waterloo shots for the second straight night while allowing just one goal in the two game series.
