Black River Falls picks up baseball victory

TOMAH – The Black River Falls High School baseball team needed just eight hits to scored twice as many runs in a 16-12 nonconference victory over Tomah on Thursday.

The Tigers scored in every inning but the sixth and won despite making five errors that led to 10 unearned runs.

Senior Noah Kubaskie doubled, walked twice and drove in two runs for Black River Falls, which took a 10-5 lead with a five-run third inning. Aidan Gunderson also doubled and drove in two for the Tigers.
