The Black Sticks lost 1-0 to Germany in the World Cup quarter final
The Black Sticks were knocked out of the World Cup Wednesday morning (NZ time), losing 1-0 to Germany in the quarterfinal at Wagener Stadium in Amsterdam.
It was an incredibly difficult game for the New Zealanders, which saw Germany taking several shots at goal, including two penalty corners, within the first quarter.
