Amazon Prime Video promoted Friday’s game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets as the first Black Friday game in NFL history.
The Buffalo Bills played the Patriots in Boston on the day after Thanksgiving in 1962. Yes, that was an American Football League game, but the NFL counts AFL games and statistics as part of league history. So Friday’s game was, at best, the second on a Black Friday.
