Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine Anime Film Swims to 31st Place on All-Time JP Box Office Charts

While a lot of films may have lowered their anchors at a smaller port, Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine continues to swim through the Japanese box office charts, gaining yet another spot this week from Star Wars: The Force Awakens to become the 31st highest-grossing film of all time in Japan.

As of Sunday, May 21, Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine brought in 11.74 billion yen (US$98.21 million) on the back of 8.27 million ticket sales in Japan. The film now sits behind Alice in Wonderland . . .
