Downed trees blocking US 62 railroad bridge in Nortonville

NORTONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) - Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials are reporting downed trees from Sunday morning’s storms are blocking many roads in the Tri-State area.
According to officials, there are trees down on US 62 railroad bridge in Nortonville.
Additionally, they say crews are responding to reports of a lane blockage on I-24 eastbound in Christian County near the 79 mile marker.
KYTC officials say they will provide more specific updates soon.
