[Courtesy photo]A new historical sign honoring Robert Owens, a significant but oft-overlooked influential African American figure in 19th century Los Angeles County, is to be unveiled Monday in the Angeles National Forest.
The event, organized by the Lowelifes Respectable Citizens Club and the Altadena Historical Society, is scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
