Saugatuck edges Black River in defensive battle to advance

NORTH MUSKEGON - For the second time within a week the Saugatuck girls basketball team found a way to get by a very tough Black River team 31-27 in the district semifinals.
Both teams were still working out the postseason jitters in the first quarter as Black River held a 4-2 lead after one and only 10-10 at the break.
